YE CHAND SA ROSHAN CHEHRA (Marathi) 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM Story: Varun Narvekar, Director: Nachiket Pendse, Performer: Sawani Oak Sawani lights up the stage with nostalgia and warmth, a Belgaon girl’s whimsical journey of love and self-discovery, through her adoration for the ever-charming Shammi Kapoor. About the Artists: Rupali Godambe has been actively involved in the Experimental theatre since last 8 years. She has quit her stable IT career when she realized that “Theatre” is a demanding child. Rupali is currently engaged in the fields of acting, direction and playwrighting. She has directed many Marathi, Hindi, and English plays while exploring different forms of theatre such realistic Plays, durational works and devised performance pieces. She was selected and trained in direction at a month long workshop at National school of Drama, Delhi. Sawani Oak is a versatile theatre artist who has been passionately working in the field of theatre for the past several years. Her solo performance received wide acclaim from audiences and critics alike, earning her a Special Appreciation Performance Grant at the Solo Theatre Festival. The same piece was also officially selected for the Best of Pune Theatre Festival, celebrating her depth and originality as a performer. Alongside her work as an actor, Sawani is also a skilled costume designer, bringing her creative vision to life both on stage and behind the scenes.
